Founded in 1894, the Northumbrian Angler's Federation is one of the oldest Angling Federations in the UK and has access to some of the best Salmon and Sea Trout fishing in the North East of England. Permit holders are able to fish beats on the rivers Tyne, Coquet and Till. The current English Salmon season closes tomorrow 31st October. The current heaviest Salmon recorded so far is 17lb and the best Sea Trout currently stands at 10lb 12oz.
